Job Summary Registered Nurse (Full‑time, Day shift 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, weekends rotating) delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with department and state standards. Collaborates with medical providers and care team members to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. Responsibilities Assess patient condition during admission and at the start of each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action if an unintended response occurs. Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate patient needs, and resolve issues efficiently. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology into understandable language. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Associate’s degree acceptable; BSN required within 24 months of hire. Current RN license in Texas or a compact license. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Minimum of one year acute‑care hospital experience.
