The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputable critical access hospital in beautiful Alturas, CA, to hire a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for its Med-Surg department. In this role, you'll provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in an acute hospital setting while working alongside a supportive and collaborative healthcare team. What You'll Do Key Responsibilities:

• Perform individualized patient assessments and report abnormal findings
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with established protocols
• Accurately document patient care, interventions, and outcomes
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
• Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality at all times
• Collaborate across departments to support overall patient care

What We're Looking For:

• Licensure and Certifications:
• Active California RN license
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Additional Skills and Attributes:
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Dependable, organized, and team-oriented mindset
