Customer Support Specialist

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Online Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will be the friendly, professional voice of our company in written communication, helping customers with their orders and keeping them happy from purchase to delivery. This is a written-support role. No telephone experience is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to customer inquiries by email, chat, and other online channels in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner Build and maintain positive customer relationships Update existing orders at the customer's request, including size, color, shipping address, and other details Verify shipping addresses to prevent delivery errors Initiate and process returns and exchanges Create and issue invoices with discounts applied Notify customers of out-of-stock items, pre-order delays, and shipment delays Keep accurate records of customer interactions and order changes Perform other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in online customer service (email, chat, or ticket-based support) Excellent written communication skills, with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation Comfortable with computers and quick to learn new software, including e-commerce and order management platforms Strong attention to detail and accuracy when editing orders and handling invoices Ability to stay calm, courteous, and solution-focused with frustrated customers Good organization and time management Reliable attendance and the ability to work on site Monday-Friday, 9-5

PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)

Western industry customer service experience is a huge bonus Experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform Experience with invoicing or payment processing tools
