As a Software Engineer II, you will be part of an agile team focused on enhancing, designing, and delivering software components for the firm’s cutting-edge technology products. Your role will involve creating secure, stable, and scalable software solutions while developing the necessary skills and experience to grow within your role. You will work on designing, developing, and troubleshooting multiple components of complex systems and applications, ensuring they meet high standards of performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement standard software solutions with minimal guidance.

• Write high-quality, secure code in at least one programming language (e.g., C#) while adhering to best practices.

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components, considering both upstream and downstream system impacts.

• Apply tools from the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to enhance automation and increase value.

• Utilize technical troubleshooting to break down problems and resolve complex technical issues.

• Analyze large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making to ensure secure and stable application development.

• Continuously learn and apply methodologies for secure, stable, and efficient code development.

• Contribute to a team culture that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with 3+ years of applied experience.

• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.

• Practical experience in coding, debugging, and maintaining software in large-scale corporate environments, using modern programming languages and database querying languages.

• Proficiency in C# and Java.

• Experience working with React for front-end development.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle.

• Experience throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Exposure to agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices.

• Emerging knowledge of modern software applications and technologies (e.g., cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Hands-on experience with AWS.
