Job Opportunity – OB/GYN Hospitalist – High-Risk Obstetrics – Minnesota

Schedule: 24-hour in-house call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) or 12-hour shifts available based on provider preference. Ongoing assignment with flexible scheduling options.

Highlights:

• High-volume obstetric service averaging 11-12 deliveries per day with Level II nursery
• Predominantly high-risk patient population (90%+ MFM involvement) with full Maternal-Fetal Medicine support during the day and on-call coverage at night
• Primary responsibilities include covering the MFM service, assisting with cesarean sections and obstetrical procedures, and providing urgent OB care and emergency coverage
• Epic documentation system (Excellian) and Obix for electronic fetal monitoring
• Collaborative team environment with 24/7 access to maternal fetal medicine specialists and another OB/GYN provider in-house for mutual support
• No residents to supervise; CNM support integrated into workflow for additional assistance

Requirements:

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Trauma Level I or II experience required
• Minnesota medical license highly preferred; IMLC required if no Minnesota license
• BLS certification required
• Experience managing high-risk obstetric patients; open to generalists interested in high-risk obstetrics with full MFM support
• Clean credentialing file required for emergency temporary privileges
