Schedule: Temporary to Hire or Direct Hire (Depending)

Pay Rate: Up to $57.69 per hour DOE

Letty Stuard with LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a fast growing client in Santa Ana to identify a strong Senior Accountant. This role is open based on experience level, with flexibility for a high performing Staff Accountant ready to grow or a proven Senior Accountant.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding organization that is scaling operations, including a recent East Coast acquisition, and is seeking someone who is curious, detail oriented, and eager to take ownership.

Overview

The ideal candidate is a self starter who takes time to understand the "why" behind processes, particularly within financial reporting and Excel driven analysis. This role will play a key part in supporting full P and L responsibility and helping improve and scale accounting processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls • Own monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Prepare and post month end journal entries • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements • Partner with department leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Analyze financial results and identify trends and insights • Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, including depreciation tracking • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed • Assist with external audits • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information • Participate in process improvement and restructuring initiatives • Perform additional duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

• May provide day to day guidance and training to junior accounting staff

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month end close • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis • Experience with NetSuite preferred • Ability to work independently and take initiative • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Effective communicator able to collaborate cross functionally • Naturally curious mindset with a desire to understand financial drivers

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required • Minimum of 4 or more years of accounting experience • Manufacturing or cost accounting experience required • Print or medical industry experience is a plus
