Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for overnight shifts at a hospital-based radiology department in the Salem, MA area, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Position is based in a Radiology - MRI department with rotating coverage between two sites: Salem Hospital and an outpatient imaging center in Peabody, MA
• 371-bed acute care hospital
• Schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and Saturday overnight 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (36 hours per week)
• Uses Siemens MRI scanners
• Charting is done in Epic
• Floating within the department is required
• Rotating shifts are required
• Holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• ARRT (MR) required; ARMRIT also accepted
• Active MA license required; conditional or pending MA licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this facility)
• Siemens MRI scanner experience required
• Phlebotomy skills required
• Proficiency with Outlook and strong interpersonal skills required
• 2 professional references required
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
• First-time travelers are not specified as excluded, but a minimum of 2 years of experience is required
