Cafe Attendant

The DuPont Country Club, nestled within the rolling hills of the historic Brandywine Valley, is one of the premier venues to promote leisure activities through championship caliber golf courses, state of the art tennis facilities, pool, and an updated fitness center. Elegantly decorated rooms, magnificent natural surroundings, customized event planning and impeccable service make any event at the DuPont Country Club truly a special occasion. The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for part-time Café Attendants to join our team in support of our quick-service Café at the Fitness Center. Attendants should be competent in taking orders and serving guests and should deliver prompt, efficient, courteous service with pleasant and positive demeanor. Attendants may also be cross-trained to work in our other outlets including Legends Pub, 1920, and the Black Gates Bar at the Golf Center. Shifts available for this position include: Tuesday-Friday: 6am-12pm Tuesday-Friday: 3pm-8pm Saturday-Sunday: 6:30am-12pm Saturday-Sunday: 3pm-7:30pm after September 27th The successful candidate will have/be: Café and Barista experience preferred Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients Restaurant Server experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills Must be dependable and adaptable Working knowledge of restaurant operations and steps of service #J-18808-Ljbffr DuPont Country Club
