Construction Site Supervisor

Job Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Use strong leadership skills to effectively manage, train, mentor and coach direct reports to meet goals and expectations. Create and demonstrate a culture of teamwork. Responsible for compliance. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external clients and business associates. Partner with project managers to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. Supervise activities of in‑house construction staff to ensure timely completion of projects and that they remain within the budget. Qualifications Computer proficiency. Knowledge and understanding of manual drawings, blueprints, and building materials. Valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record. Ability to read and interpret maps and blueprints. Knowledge of specifications, plans, and project estimates. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously with clients, vendors, the general public, and employees. Strong analytical skills. Ability to operate with minimal direction and manage several projects simultaneously. Ability to complete construction projects under scheduled deadlines with a high level of accuracy. Bilingual in English and Spanish. High school degree or associate’s degree or equivalent. Strong leadership experience. Minimum five years of commercial construction experience as a site supervisor or equivalent position.
