Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Local Mobile area Commercial General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team and help them continue to grow. We are seeking an individual who can Estimate work, build relationships, and manage projects from beginning to end. Immediate need due to high demand - APPLY NOW! This clienthas been in business for over 20 years, however they have remained a smaller General Contractor on purpose, maintaining a low overhead and high margin approach to projects. That being said, they have recently implemented a strategic growth plan allowing for additional project intake, and requiring the addition of new Superintendents and Project Managers. With $40M in yearly revenue currently, and a goal of hitting $100M annually by 2030, they are bidding new work and project sizes and plan to scale the business to new heights. They are well-loved by their repeat clients, and focus on retail, restaurant, medical, and light-industrial projects which include mostly ground-up, but also remodel work. Responsibilities Work alongside the Superintendent to oversee project staff for dedicated accounts Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential. Build and maintain rapport with architects, subcontractors, and vendors. Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements. Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule Manage budget and financial reporting Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget. Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program. Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions Profile 4+ years of experience in Construction Project Management Must have experience running ground-up Commercial, Industrial, or Multifamily projects Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
