Founded in 1957, Seyer Industries is a small business located in St. Peters, Missouri, specializing in high-complexity machined parts and assemblies for the aerospace and maritime industries. Seyer is a turnkey supplier with extensive capabilities, including CNC machining, design engineering, mechanical assembly, chemical processing, painting, kitting, welding, and NADCAP-certified penetrant and magnetic particle inspection. Our team is comprised of individuals proudly committed to the objectives of quality and productivity. Principle Responsibilities: Develop new and optimize existing CMM programs using PC-DMIS software for various CMMs, complying with internal programming requirements. Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications as needed to ensure CMM programs measure and record all necessary implicit and explicit customer requirements. Responsible for CMM program configuration management, ensuring that CMM programs are revised as necessary to support internal requests and customer changes. Promptly respond to CMM troubleshooting requests such as machine crashes to minimize downtime. Assist Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, Production, and other key areas with special projects as assigned. Maintain excellent communications and working relationships with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, and Production. Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Seyer's Quality Management System in alignment with aerospace industry standards (AS9100). Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and conform to Seyer Industries Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, policies, and procedures. Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience: Proficient in CMM programming Strong understanding of measurement principles and programming techniques Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills All job offers are contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check.
