This is a temporary to hire role offering full time hours, overtime opportunities, and a chance to grow with a leading manufacturing company.Watch a short 60 sec video to see what we do at Mailers: How We Make Mailers | Georgia-Pacific YouTubeWhat You’ll DoPerform visual quality inspections of finished productEnsure correct packaging materials, counts, and labelsStack product into boxes and onto skidsAssist line operators with wash-ups, changeovers, and startupsMaintain clean work areas and follow all safety proceduresRead and follow written and verbal job instructionsLift and move 20 to 25 lbs. regularly; repetitive handwork for 80% of shiftComfortable performing housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, picking up paper around the lines, and maintaining a clean work area.Other Considerations/Physical RequirementsMaintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipmentPerform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environmentBasic Qualifications:Ability to work the rotating 12 hour scheduleWilling to complete a background check and drug screening1 year of manufacturing production experience.Must provide your own steel toe boots Why Work with UsCompetitive payOpportunity for permanent hireWork in a modern, climate controlled facilityWe are an equal opportunity employer.
