Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to patients, assessing and treating respiratory conditions under physician guidance. Ensure optimal patient care through effective use of respiratory equipment and therapies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor respiratory treatments and interventions according to physician prescriptions.
• Evaluate patients' respiratory status, including conducting assessments and interpreting clinical data.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and proper function.
• Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and revise treatment plans.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid NBRC RRT certification and active state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist within the specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
