Membership Director

Immediate need for a driven Membership Sales Director. The ideal candidate excels in upscale hospitality environments and demonstrates a strong track record in membership recruitment and engagement. The Membership Sales Director is charged with driving top-line membership dues revenue through strategic recruitment, recruitment marketing, and focused retention strategies. This leader creates and executes an annual sales strategy aimed at boosting facility profitability while maintaining premier service standards for members and guests. The role oversees the entire sales cycle—from promotional marketing and prospect outreach to final membership approval, accounting compliance, file recordkeeping, and new member onboarding. What you will be doing: Formulate and execute a comprehensive membership growth strategy to expand overall membership count and elevate dues revenue. Collaborate on marketing initiatives and advertising campaigns aimed at generating high-quality leads. Build and maintain an accurate CRM database to track prospects, communication logs, and sales pipeline activity. Generate weekly sales, roster, and market analytics reports for corporate executive leadership and the General Manager; manage essential member files, including agreements, promissory notes, dues schedules, and pace tracking. Cultivate strong relationships with current members to drive event attendance, boost retention, and enhance member satisfaction. Inform club staff and leadership on sales goals, active initiatives, and member retention metrics. Build strategic local alliances with regional business leaders, corporate executives, tourism boards, and local Chambers of Commerce. Conduct prospective member tours, deliver sales presentations, facilitate smooth onboarding orientations, and work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends as needed). Enforce departmental policies and quality assurance standards, reporting directly to the General Manager.
