This full-time, contract opportunity is perfect for experienced and early-career Speech Language Pathologists passionate about empowering young learners to achieve their communication goals. The program runs from July 7th to August 7th, offering a focused period to impact students’ lives while enjoying a summer schedule.

You’ll serve multiple caseloads in a dynamic educational setting, collaborating with educators and families near Wood River Junction, RI. Whether you have your CCC or are completing your CFY, this summer program is designed for SLPs experienced in both healthcare and pediatric settings who thrive in flexible and energetic environments.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Rhode Island Speech Language Pathologist license required
• ASHA CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
• Pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience highly valued
• Knowledge of K-12 educational frameworks and IEP processes
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt and multitask across a varied caseload in a fast-paced summer session

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech/language screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students K-12
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document progress and maintain records in compliance with school and state mandates
• Consult with teaching staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere focused on student growth and participation
