R10091922 Local Delivery Driver (CDL A w/Hazmat) (Open) Location: Concord, CA Job Overview Airgas is looking for a Local Delivery Driver to safely deliver compressed gas cylinders and support customer relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations. Accurately record deliveries and pick‑ups on a load manifest and obtain customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling. Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA. Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed. Required Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements. Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements. No more than two (2) traffic convictions, or two (2) at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years, or a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at‑fault accident in the last 3 years. No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years. Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment. Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs. and move more than 125 lbs. with the aid of material handling equipment. Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months. Preferred Qualifications Forklift experience. 5 years of CDL A experience. Benefits Pay: $35.00 per hour. Bonus potential. Work schedule: Monday‑Friday, day shift.
