We believe that people can change, and we work to empower each individual in their own care.NAFI CT is currently seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team at the Tress Rd Group Home in Prospect.Tress Road is a four-bed, group home that provides treatment for adolescent males (ages 13 to 20) with developmental disabilities, co-occurring psychiatric disorders as well as specialized medical and behavioral needs. The home provides clinical services, and unconditional support in an environment that allows for individualized treatment and permanency planning.Responsibilities Include:Serve as key staff member for clients assigned to you, assuring supervision and accountability for them at all timesBe available to fulfill staff vacancies on an as needed basisProvides and assists with development of treatment and/or service plans, goals, individual counseling to client to discuss interpersonal issues, and treatment issuesDemonstrates the ability to assess client skill levels.
