Staff Accountant FocusPoint is recruiting for a full time, in office Staff Accountant on behalf of a privately held, multi entity organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast moving environment, enjoys full cycle accounting, and wants to contribute directly to operational accuracy across several related business units.

The Staff Accountant manages end to end accounting activities for multiple entities under common ownership. This includes AP support, reconciliations, reporting, and hands on involvement with financial analysis and operational accounting. The role is fully on site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00.

Compensation: Up to $95,000 Benefits: 401(k) with up to 4 percent match, health insurance Schedule: In office only

• Full cycle accounting for multiple entities

• Full cycle accounting in QuickBooks for designated entities

• AP processing support across several business lines

• Resolve invoice, PO, and payment discrepancies

• Reconcile vendor statements and process weekly/monthly check runs

• Prepare and process 1099s for multiple companies

• Perform account reconciliations across entities

• Assist CFO with pro forma work, budgeting, and forecasting

• Calculate and report sales tax

• Analyze financial results to ensure accurate pricing

• Manage customer reconciliations for interior design and rental operations

• Track receivables and handle vendor inquiries

• Collaborate with purchasing and internal teams

• Maintain Excel spreadsheets, perform ad hoc analysis, support insurance compliance, and complete additional tasks assigned by the CFO

• Four years of accounting experience preferred; homebuilding industry experience a plus

• CPA or CPA eligible preferred but not required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks; ability to learn additional systems

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Self motivated, dependable, and comfortable working with all levels of the organization

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Team oriented mindset
