Press Technician Responsibilities:

• Operate presses and follow checklists, procedures, and guidelines to production flow to meet customer specifications
• Inspect brass casings for cosmetic and functional defects using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers) for quality monitoring
• Utilize PLEX production software effectively
• Perform mechanical adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Adhere to safety requirements, including cleaning the work area, lockout/tagout, and wearing required PPE

Requirements for Press Technician:

- High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous experience working in manufacturing preferred - Ability to work with large press machinery - Previous forklift experience is a plus - Intellectual curiosity, passion for machinery, positive attitude and self-discipline - Detail-oriented with a high degree of quality and accuracy - Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds. - Ability to pass pre-employment screening - Ability to read, write, and speak English - Strong mechanical, mathematical, reading comprehension and troubleshooting skills - Demonstrate safe work practices, ability to work independently and within a team environment, and strong communication skills
