Responsibilities
- Set up and monitor CT scanning procedures; operate CT equipment and position patients safely, applying immobilization devices as needed.
- Administer intravenous contrast media per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions; respond to allergies and take appropriate action.
- Acquire, develop, and archive CT images for the patient’s permanent record; record studies and manage digital storage and transfer.
- Maintain image quality by following department guidelines; perform daily calibration and quality control of CT equipment.
- Assist radiologists with specialized CT procedures and review pertinent patient history to aid diagnosis.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, monitor for allergic reactions, and assist with emergency situations as needed, including CPR.

Requirements
- 2+ years of CT experience (required)
- Philips CT equipment experience (required)
- ARRT certification and BLS certification
- Traveler assignment experience (preferred)
- Ability to perform CT procedures in a hospital setting and maintain image quality per department standards
