Store Sales Manager

Job Summary Store Manager at Mattress Firm will lead store operations, staff, merchandising, and sales performance. They hold associates accountable for execution of merchandising plans and drive financial results across multiple store units. Responsibilities Lead store vision and initiatives; achieve sales performance goals. Coach and develop associates; conduct onboarding and 30‑60‑90 day check‑ins. Perform workforce management activities, including staffing schedule, punch reconciliation, and compliance with company policies. Ensure product merchandising, marketing and POP standards are executed. Partner with marketing to plan and monitor social media strategy. Oversee opening and closing procedures, inventory levels, and merchandise flow. Maintain accurate cash handling, payment acceptance and invoicing. Execute company initiatives and support omni‑channel experience. Plan strategically, analyze reporting, and adjust staffing and inventory. Lift, push or pull 50+ pounds; stand or sit 8+ hours continuously. Qualifications Experience in retail store management, sales performance, and employee coaching. Ability to analyze reports, plan staffing, and manage inventory. Strong communication and leadership skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay range of $72,000 – $88,000 per year plus uncapped commission. 401(k) with employer match. Medical, dental, prescription, and vision plans.
