Steven McIntosh State Farm is growing, and we’re looking for a Sales Team Member to join our high-energy, supportive agency in Parma, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, learning valuable financial skills, and earning income based on performance — not seniority.

Position Overview

As a Sales Team Member, you’ll work directly with customers to identify their insurance and financial protection needs while helping our agency continue its strong growth in the community. This is not a call-center environment. We focus on meaningful conversations, education, and long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with new and existing customers

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products

• Quote and sell auto, home, renters, life, and health insurance

• Conduct outbound follow-ups and warm leads (no cold calling lists)

• Cross-sell and bundle policies to better protect customers

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up activity

• Participate in ongoing sales training and coaching

• Strong communication and people skills

• Self-motivated with a competitive mindset

• Coachable and open to feedback

• Organized and reliable

• Prior sales or customer service experience preferred (not required)

• Insurance experience is a plus — but we will train the right person regardless of experience
