Position: Crisis Intervention Specialist - Behavioral Health Location: Canton/Macomb Hours: Variable Position Overview Completes assessments of clients in crisis within ED of local hospitals to determine appropriate level of care Completes de-escalation of clients with acute symptoms Screens and evaluates clients for higher level of care Completes clinical assessments and treatment plans for clients deflected from ED Completes referrals for follow-up from ED or to inpatient psych facilities Works after hours on a rotating evening and weekend schedule Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy, Human Service Field, or LPN/RN Bachelor's Degree in a like field with 2 years' work experience in a Behavioral Health setting High School Diploma and 5 years working experience in a clinical role in a behavioral health setting Salary and Benefits Competitive pay based on qualifications, experience, and credentials (starting at $22.00/hour) Full time benefit package, including health, dental, vision insurance, LTC, 401K, PTO, holidays Additional pay for after hours on call and call out pay Shift premium Position Requirements Full-time/Part-time: Full Time Shift: Not applicable Position: Crisis Intervention Specialist Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Location: Canton office This position is currently accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr North-Central-Behavioral-Health-System
