Position Overview To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree before the first day of work with Success Academy. A background in education is not required. As a teacher in New York City’s top‑performing network of K‑12 charter schools, you will join a team of professionals committed to teaching and preparing children from low‑income neighborhoods to be self‑assured thinkers and leaders. Responsibilities Assess and analyze student data to chart growth and achievement and adapt instruction accordingly. Engage in professional development opportunities with school leaders and receive targeted feedback and coaching. Participate in the school leadership track, including opportunities to advance to assistant principal roles or transition to the network office. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree issued before the first day of employment. Rigorous and relevant academic major (e.g., biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering). Passion for content in literature, science, history, and/or math, with a willingness to deepen knowledge independently. Strong planning and organizational skills, able to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively. High emotional intelligence, building trusting relationships with diverse populations and welcoming feedback and coaching.
