Front Desk Agent Position at ARRIVE Palm Springs

The Front Desk Agent is often the first and last face our guests see the one who sets the tone for a memorable stay. From a warm check-in to answering questions throughout the visit, you'll be the go-to source for our signature trusty service.

The tasks include:

• Leading the check-in/check-out process, confirming guest information, billing, and settling folios.
• Serving as a savvy guide to the hotel, its amenities, and the neighborhood.
• Building genuine, memorable guest relationships in line with our service standards.
• Fielding phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly and warmly.
• Accurately inputting guest information and payments into hotel systems such as Opera.
• Proactively anticipating guest needs, resolving issues, and finding ways to surprise and delight.
• Communicating guest requests or concerns to the Front Desk Manager, Housekeeping, or Engineering, and conducting walkthroughs for safety, security, and cleanliness.
• Crafting drinks for every occasion mimosas at brunch, chef's-tasting-menu pairings, or espresso to-go.
• Learning our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.
• Restocking, replenishing, and prepping the bar as needed.
• Following all safety and emergency protocols, and lending a hand to other departments as needed to keep operations smooth.

What we're looking for:

Required:

• 1 year of related experience in guest reception, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
• Positive, energetic, and service-oriented, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Comfortable with basic arithmetic and property management/point-of-sale systems.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.
• Good judgment, calm under pressure, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.

Physical:

• Ability to stand for long periods and push, pull, or lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
