Regional Occupational Health Nurse

Pay Range $93,900.00–$129,100.00 annual (base salary; varies by experience, skills, and education). Eligible for an incentive bonus. Responsibilities Manage phone triage following injuries. Case‑manage work‑related injuries, including escorting employees to medical appointments, following up with employees, communicating with safety representatives, and maintaining documentation. Provide nurse case management for ADA and FMLA compliance. Partner with EHS teams to keep incident reports updated in JM’s Incident Management system. Ensure all work‑related injuries are reported timely to JM’s workers’ compensation administrator. Support post‑offer, pre‑employment medical programs in the region. Conduct occupational health audits of facilities as required. Drive continuous improvement in recordkeeping, monitoring, and auditing to ensure compliance with JM policies, programs, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement plant‑based wellness activities. Oversee OSHA compliance for occupational health programs such as hearing conservation and respiratory protection. Assist plants with emergency response training, including CPR, first aid, and AED. Monitor substance‑abuse procedures, administer drug testing, and work with HR on employee treatment. Partner with plant teams and third‑party consultants to improve health and safety. Provide training and medical advice to JM teams. Develop positive employee engagement through lunch‑and‑learns, health fairs, and wellness initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Multi‑state nursing license covering all states in the region. Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minimum of 8 years of occupational nursing experience. Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) preferred. Extensive knowledge of workers’ compensation and OSHA regulations. Solid interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to travel approximately 25%.
