About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead one of its senior living communities. The successful candidate will be the community leader, with a primary focus on creating a warm, compassionate, and secure atmosphere that promotes the independence and activity of all residents. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial, human resource, and operations management of the community, with the ultimate goal of maintaining a profitable operation. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all community operations and departments, including resident care, business office, sales, culinary, housekeeping, activities, and maintenance. Building strong relationships with residents and families is also a key aspect of the position. Applicants for the Executive Director role at the company should have a minimum of three years' of previous management experience in the senior housing industry, with a preference for a college degree. Advanced computer and Microsoft Office skills are required, along with excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. The role involves managing a large team across multiple departments, so experience in this area is essential. The Executive Director will be expected to work closely with the Sales and Marketing Director to achieve 100% occupancy and to develop and manage the community budget. The position is demanding, with the need to be on-call 24/7 for emergencies and to work weekends and holidays as necessary. A valid driver's license and the willingness to obtain a state administrator's certification are also necessary.
