Full-Time Preschool Teacher (Ages 3–5)

Position Overview

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment. You will guide children through hands-on learning experiences that support their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while fostering curiosity and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily classroom activities for children ages 3–5

• Create a warm, “home-like” environment where children feel safe and valued

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and engaging activities

• Encourage creativity, exploration, and positive social interactions

• Observe and assess each child’s developmental progress

• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom

• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times

• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and leadership

• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and school events as required

• Serve as a positive role model for children

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children ages 3–5

• Demonstrated passion for early childhood education

• Warm, friendly, and patient demeanor

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly reliable, professional, and organized

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Must meet all state licensing requirements

• Checkable references required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs as needed for child safety and care

• Ability to move actively throughout the day (sitting, standing, bending, etc.)

Schedule

• Full-time position

• Must be flexible to work opening or closing shifts
