Front-End Developer

Front-End Developer Location: Charlotte, NC (Fully Onsite) Contract Duration: 9 Months This position is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non‑functional, and compliance requirements; coding solutions; unit testing; and ensuring that the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well‑tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of industry development and testing practices. Responsibilities Code using UI technologies and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements Perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI‑CD) activities Contribute to story refinement and definition of requirements Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI development, with a focus on React and Angular. Proven track record of designing and developing user interfaces for high‑performance web applications. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front‑end applications with back‑end services. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Ability to translate requirements provided by Business Analysts and provide wire‑framing design. Able to work on home‑grown applications and extend functionality as required; comfortable building multi‑page web applications from scratch. Knowledge of Apache Web Server preferred. Good communication and articulation skills, both verbal and written. Must be a team player and proactive in helping other teammates to achieve the team deliverables. Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance. Desired Qualifications Experience in Java or databases is a plus.
