Location 14920 Keel Street, Plymouth , Michigan 48170 , United States Job Description The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position: Cost Accounting General ledger and account reconciliation and analysis Month end & quarter end close activities Journal entry preparation and posting Financial reporting and analysis Inter-company accounts payable and accounts receivable analysis Assist with financial audit (internal and external) Cash accounts reconciliations Reserve/provision analysis and preparation Fixed asset accounting Accounts payable and accounts receivable research and support Budget vs actual management and auditing Budgeting assist Profit margin analysis Process improvement activities Participation and supporting projects Staff management Other tasks and duties as assigned Requirements Essential Skills and Experience: 3 - 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a storing emphasis on cost accounting, inventory, or manufacturing environments Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and hands-on experience with major ERP or accounting software such as Oracle Time management Beneficial Skills and Experience Oracle Experience Experience in automotive industry Education/Training/Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited university Excellent written and oral language skills Travel Requirements 10 % Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and required to meet business needs.
