Role Description The Paralegal role at Zimmer & Rens LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Brookfield, WI. The paralegal will assist attorneys with real estate, business law, and privacy matters by preparing and organizing legal documents, supporting case management, and maintaining accurate files. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal and factual research, reviewing and summarizing documents, drafting correspondence and pleadings, and assisting with trial preparation and court filings. The paralegal will communicate with clients, courts, and other parties to schedule meetings, obtain information, and ensure timely follow-up on case developments. This role also involves coordinating deadlines, managing calendars, and contributing to efficient, cost-effective service for clients.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, with knowledge of real estate, business, and/or privacy-related matters.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, courts, and other stakeholders.
- Advanced Research abilities for statutes, case law, regulations, and factual investigations.
- Attention to detail in Document Review, organizing case files, and managing deadlines.
- Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in a law firm or legal department, ideally in real estate or business law.
- Proficiency with legal case management software and standard office productivity tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a small legal team and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills, discretion, and commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practice.
