Position Overview: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical department, your insights and contributions to patient care are highly valued and encouraged. Job Summary and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be tasked with providing exceptional, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental requirements and state-specific practice standards. Working closely with healthcare providers and the care team, you will deliver individualized, thorough, and empathetic care, adhering to established nursing frameworks such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, reflecting the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure a remarkable patient experience and favorable clinical results.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluating the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
• Executing procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.
• Administering prescribed medications, observing the patient for therapeutic responses, and taking appropriate actions in case of adverse reactions.
• Delivering outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, anticipating their needs, and addressing them proactively.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical language.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Completion of a Registered Nurse Diploma program.
• No travel is required for this position.
