Total Education Solutions (TES) is seeking a skilled operations manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, safety, and security of our facilities across TES and IRL locations. Based at our headquarters in South Pasadena, this role is ideal for an experienced facilities or operations professional who enjoys leading projects, managing vendor relationships, improving processes, and supporting organizational growth.

Operations Manager South Pasadena, CA Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8AM–5PM Travel: Approximately 50% to TES and IRL locations

What You'll Do

• Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, safety, and security of company facilities.
• Manage lease negotiations, renewals, and landlord relationships.
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and third-party partnerships.
• Supervise janitorial staff and contracted facility service providers.
• Manage the company's workers' compensation program, including claims and return-to-work coordination.
• Coordinate property, liability, and business insurance programs and claims with insurance carriers and brokers.
• Lead facility upgrades, renovations, capital projects, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, building, fire, and other applicable regulations.
• Evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Partner with leadership on organizational growth, new site development, and office relocations.

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance supervision, operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and facility-related services.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and locations effectively.
• Experience with compliance, safety, insurance, workers' compensation, or facility operations is highly valued.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as regular travel between company locations is required.
