Administer employee status changes and personnel actions, ensuring accurate maintenance of employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data Assist with benefits administration activities as needed, including supporting enrollments, employee status changes, and responses to employee inquiries Prepare and process check requests and purchase orders Complete employment verifications, education reimbursement requests, and other HR-related transactions Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and provide logistical support for HR initiatives, training programs, and agency-wide events as needed Administer employee recognition programs and support employee engagement initiatives and activities Generate, maintain, and distribute employee reports, HR metrics, and workforce data as requested Provide administrative support for recruitment and onboarding activities, including coordinating background checks, processing new hire paperwork, supporting orientation activities, and ensuring all onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on time Conduct periodic audits of personnel records and HR data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards Assist with HR projects, process improvements, special assignments, and other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals Key Qualifications Background in Human Resources Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organizational skills and attention to detail Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Knowledge of HRMS Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting HRIS implementations, system upgrade, data migrations, workflow configuration, testing, and end user training.
