Maintenance Technician

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Greenville MI within the Plastics Manufacturing industry.

Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

2nd Shift 2:45pm-11:05pm (some weekends required) Pay: $26-32/hr (based on experience) Assignment Length: Full time, long term Start Date: Immediate

• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment issues

• Maintaining fluid levels in hydraulic reservoirs

• Changing filters and completing PM tasks per schedule

• Greasing equipment and performing routine lubrication

• Repairing hydraulic, air, and water leaks in a timely manner

• Maintaining and inspecting safety devices on equipment

• Performing emergency repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance

• Following lockout/tagout procedures before working on equipment

• Completing work orders and documenting repairs

• Participating in internal problem solving and improvement activities

• Maintaining forklift maintenance checklists

• Supporting overtime needs during the week or weekends

• Other duties as assigned by supervision

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Associate degree, technical school training, or 1+ year of related maintenance experience

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Strong communication skills with all levels of staff

• Ability to participate in problem solving activities

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and torque up to 180 lbs

• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)

• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures

• Reliable transportation
