Physical Therapy Assistant - Full Time

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Join a team that's making a real difference. We're hiring a licensed PTA to work with one of our trusted clients in Jacksonville, FL, outpatient setting. You will support adult outpatient orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries—helping them manage pain and regain movement—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Florida PTA state license required to start the position.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience or comfort working in adult outpatient orthopedics. No pediatrics or neurology caseload.
• Comfortable delivering a mix of 1:1 and concurrent care, including occasional double-booking and overlapping appointments.
• Willingness to work within hourly-based productivity expectations. Full-time (40 hrs/week) caseload approximates 60 patients/week, ~1.5 patients per hour.
• Flexibility to work a preferred 4x10 schedule or Monday–Friday (typical hours 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM) with a 1 hour lunch and rotating weekday off approximately every 6 months.
• Open to new graduates and relocation candidates.

Clinical Focus & Caseload:

• Adult outpatient orthopedics only.
• Treatment model includes 1:1 and concurrent care with occasional double-booking.
• PTAs typically collaborate with PTs and are not exclusive to a single clinician.
• Typical staffing varies by clinic from small teams of 3 therapists to larger teams of up to 11 therapists.

• Able to work in a fast paced, multi-patient, multi-therapist environment.
• Welcoming and personable with patients regardless of primary therapist assignment.
