Junior Accountant

Junior AccountantGood Greek Moving & Storage is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience and a strong foundation in accounting principles. This role offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within one of Florida’s leading relocation companies.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisPrepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjusting entriesAssist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal management reportsPerform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliationsSupport month-end and year-end close processesAssist with tax preparation, filings, and compliance documentationCoordinate with internal and external auditors by providing requested documentationTrack and monitor fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and expense reportsIdentify discrepancies and proactively resolve accounting issuesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experienceStrong understanding of GAAP principlesProficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)High attention to detail and accuracyAbility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood Greek and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers.
