Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rock Island, Illinois. The nurse will contribute clinical expertise in managing patients and supporting interdisciplinary team efforts, with the possibility of floating across local campuses as needed. Job Details Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid state licenses for Illinois and Iowa, BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications, drivers license, work history/resume, skills checklist completed within the last year, license verification, copy of required certifications, at least 2 years of previous experience, and previous travel contract experience preferred. Responsibilities: Managing patient care in a trauma center setting, including the use of Electronic Patient Monitoring (EPIC). The role entails working primarily during the orientation schedule and may include work during summer holidays and on-call duties with designated multipliers. Additional Information: Local candidates accepted. The unit maintains a 1:7 patient ratio, with high volume travel needs to address staffing shortages. Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, central lines, and titratable medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban required. Profile must include drivers license, work history, skills checklist, license verification, certifications, and supervisory reference. Submission Requirements: Profiles must include all necessary documentation and references, with the candidate having a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.
