Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School Setting

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based opportunity. The SLP will be responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing therapy services, and maintaining documentation in accordance with each student's individualized plan of care.

Position Details

• Full-time, 35 hours per week

• 39-week contract

• Start Date: September 14, 2026 (ASAP consideration)

• Weekday schedule

• Virtual client interview required

• Timekeeping through MaxView

• School-based setting

• 11-month assignment

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for students.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.

• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.

• Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required based on state or contract requirements.

• Knowledge of and compliance with professional standards of practice.

• Current CPR certification if required.

• TB screening, PPD, or chest X-ray if required.

• Current health certificate as required by state regulations or contract.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in school settings.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage caseloads effectively and maintain detailed documentation.

• Passion for helping students achieve communication success.
