Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Remote (Must reside in and be available to work Eastern Time hours)

Shift: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Client Overview

This is one of the largest healthcare organizations in the country, supporting members, providers, and pharmacies with a wide range of health plan services. You would be working in a national customer care center that supports pharmacy benefit and prescription related calls for health plan members across the country.

Top 3 Skills

Pharmacy benefit management (PBM) experience
Pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or NHA)
Prior authorization and formulary processes

What You'll Do

Take inbound calls from members, pharmacies, and prescribers regarding pharmacy benefit questions
Provide real time support to pharmacies on point of service issues
Educate prescribers on formulary requirements and prior authorization steps
Enter member and call data accurately into the documentation system
Assist members with pharmacy benefit coverage questions
Follow standard operating procedures to keep every call accurate and effective
Communicate issues and resolutions clearly to both customers and internal teams

What We Need From You

3 to 5 years of recent pharmacy or PBM experience
High school diploma or GED
Strong phone based customer service skills in a high volume call center environment
Reliable home internet and a quiet workspace for a fully remote role

Preferred/Bonus

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
PTCB or NHA Pharmacy Technician Certification
