Advanced Mechanical Engineer – McLeansville, NC We are seeking an Advanced Mechanical Engineer for a long-term contract position in McLeansville, NC. The role requires US citizenship and residency, W2 hourly contract only, no 1099, no third parties, no C2C. Must qualify for a Secret Clearance. Pay ranges from $55 to $67.85 per hour. Responsibilities As a Mechanical Engineer for GeoLogics you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for thermal and structural analysis of complex components used in undersea hardware. Collaboration with design engineering and manufacturing. Qualifications Strong background in structural and thermal analysis. Experience with ANSYS and MATLAB required. Proficiency with CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, plus technical, government and industry standards. Creative, collaborative thinker capable of leading complex projects. Strong communication skills and ability to write technical papers and proposals. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
