Rental Sales Management Trainee

Job Summary This 12‑18 month training program provides general Rental Management training plus specific training in Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales/Marketing. The incumbent supports location and regional management and experiences a fast‑paced program covering all aspects of the business unit. Completion leads to a career path with potential internal promotion. Training is located at Rochester, NY. Essential Functions Handle inbound sales and outbound solicitation processes. Maintain accurate data within the company’s marketing database. Generate rental, lease, and used‑vehicle sales leads. Manage all rental asset processes, including vehicle PM and cleanliness standards. Execute sales and marketing initiatives to meet overall market‑share goals. Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies. Reconcile customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain relationships and grow the customer base. Additional Responsibilities On a voluntary basis and on schedule, serve as an On‑Call Representative as directed by supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. High energy, self‑motivated, self‑directed, able to focus on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail oriented with strong follow‑up practices. Common sense and aptitude to learn quickly. Ability to relocate in the region or U.S. after training. Computer literate – intermediate level required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. One (1) year or more of customer service experience with issue resolution preferred. Computer literacy – intermediate level required. Eligible for annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level or type.
