Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide high-quality emergency medical services. This role involves the ability to float to other units and locations as needed. The schedule offers flexibility with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.About the RoleThe Emergency Department is equipped to care for patients of all age groups and is staffed 24/7 by an experienced team including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The department is a designated Level III Trauma Center and a Level II Stroke Center. It serves a diverse population, treating over 60,000 patients annually.Patient CareOur Nurse to Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical and trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients, ensuring a focused environment for optimal patient care.QualificationsEducation: Associate's degree in nursingCertifications: AHA ACLSAHA BLSAHA PALSNIH or RED CROSS certificationTNCC certification (to be obtained on-site)Licenses: Must possess a Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a Compact license (temporary licenses are not accepted)NURSYS registration requiredExperience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.Consideration may be given to applicants with 18 months of experience in highly specialized roles, provided they have 2 years of recent experience in their field of expertise.Join Our TeamIf you are committed to delivering exceptional care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
