Job Description

Job Summary:
CT TECH will perform computed tomography imaging and assist with patient care by delivering accurate scans while maintaining patient safety and image quality. This per diem role requires consistent readiness for short-term assignments and strict adherence to credentialing standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners and associated imaging equipment to produce diagnostically accurate images.
• Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort and compliance.
• Administer ordered contrast per protocol and document relevant screening or safety steps.
• Maintain radiation safety practices, including appropriate shielding and dose optimization.
• Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshoot basic issues, and report defects promptly.
• Follow established infection control procedures and manage clean/sterile workflows as applicable.

Qualifications:

• Hold active credentialing/verifiable licensure as required for CT Tech practice.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Maintain current ACLS certification.
• Maintain current PALS certification and/or NRP certification as applicable.
• Provide proof of MMR status and varicella vaccination or declination.
• Complete and comply with background screening and drug screen requirements (as allowed pending start).
