Pay Rate: $27.00+ per hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 2:30 PM (No Weekend Shifts)
Rx relief is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to join a premier healthcare team in Scottsdale, AZ. This full-time daytime role offers a stable schedule with no weekend coverage required. Local candidates only.
Key Responsibilities
- Automated Dispensing & Delivery: Refill and restock Omnicell cabinets, fill medication cassettes, bins, and patient-specific requests, and deliver medications directly to nursing units.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts, perform scheduled cycle counts/audits, process medication returns and credits, and track out-dates/damaged/recalled stock.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure precise packaging and labeling before distribution, assist with medication room inspections, and prepare monthly audit documentation.
- Specialized Support: Monitor high-alert medications, emergency kits, and antidote inventory while supporting patient-owned medication processing per facility policy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensure: Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license.
- Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) required.
- Experience: Proven hospital experience operating Omnicell cabinets and medication filling machines.
- Core Competencies: Strong background in general inpatient technician duties, inventory rotation, and managing out-dates.
- Residency: Must be a local candidate residing in or near Scottsdale, AZ.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $27.00 - $35.00 Per
