Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Poway, CA Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Friday: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Make Every Penny Count (Literally) Become our next Accounts Receivable Specialist in Poway and help manage invoices, receipts, and payment tracking. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Additional education in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or finance is beneficial. Experience Requirements Previous Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and collections experience required Working knowledge of QuickBooks required Experience handling customer accounts, invoices, and payment follow-up Good computer and general office skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Job Duties Process Accounts Payable and enter approximately 5-7 bills per day Assist with Accounts Receivable functions Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and collections Use QuickBooks for daily accounting and bookkeeping activities Communicate with customers by phone regarding invoices, payments, and account status Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist with general administrative and office support tasks Provide backup coverage for the Office Assistant as needed Preferred Qualifications Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or office administration experience is preferred. Experience using ERP systems, accounting software, or enterprise financial applications is beneficial. Knowledge of invoice reconciliation, vendor management, payment processing, or financial reporting is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate professionalism, accuracy, dependability, and strong organizational skills are well positioned for success as a Accounts Receivable Specialist. Physical Capabilities Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to review financial documents and enter data accurately. Ability to occasionally lift office materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform standard office duties while maintaining attention to detail throughout the workday.
