Certified Surgical TechnicianFranklin, WI, 53132 - Onsite3 months+ ContractExperience Level: 1-3 yearsDepartment: SurgeryShift Timings: 06:00-14:30 Hours Monday to Friday (5 Days/8 Hours) Per Week: 40 HoursRotating start and end times: 0630 or 0700 to 1430 or 1500. May be a later start on other days 0900 -1730 - 8-hour shifts; Call: based on department needs - currently at one to two times during the week and every third or fourth weekend. Weekend call starts at 1500 on Friday and ends on Monday morning at 0700, holidays are on call with regular staff as needed. May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.Roles & ResponsibilitiesPreparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries. Sterilizing equipment and instruments. Stocking adequate supplies for surgery. Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites. Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies. Tracking surgical supplies. Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures. Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team. Helping provides great patient care.Minimum QualificationsOR experience neededRequired SkillsCertified Surgical Technician (CST)Certifications & Clearance RequirementsBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification
