Shipping and Receiving Clerk – West Monroe, LA Pay Rate: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour Shift: Day shift Requirements Previous forklift experience required (1 year) Experience in shipping and receiving or a warehouse environment (1 year) Basic computer skills and comfort with data entry (1 year) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and time management skills Ability to lift and move materials as needed (up to 35 pounds) Job Duties Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse. Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and inspect for accuracy or damage. Prepare and ship outgoing orders, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Maintain organized inventory and assist with stock management. Complete basic clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining shipping/receiving records. Communicate with team members regarding shipments, inventory, and order status. Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
