Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned sports venture investor to partner with our family office, Eberg Capital, and help scale our portfolio and run day‑to‑day operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as a partner and operational leader for Eberg Capital.
- Represent the company’s brand and reputation internally and externally.
- Work closely with my son Ethan and other family team members to mentor and grow the next generation of dealmakers.
- Source, evaluate, and manage pre‑seed and seed stage investment opportunities in sports and adjacent sectors.
- Provide strategic guidance to portfolio companies as they mature.
Qualifications
- Based in New York City or willing to relocate.
- Proven track record as a sports venture investor with early‑stage network.
- Experience generating deal flow for pre‑seed and seed stage funding.
- Strong relationships with startups, incumbents, bankers, and other venture capitalists.
- Reputation for honesty, integrity, and skill.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and partner mindset.
