Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Mid 5x8-Hour: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend coverage required every other week.

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to take on a charge role during evening shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to oversee patient care while managing nursing staff in a psychiatric facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
• Coordinate nursing assignments and manage staff in charge of patient care during shifts.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records using the Sunrise charting system.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with Sunrise electronic medical records system preferred.
